Construction Controller

Job Description:
Stardom Employment Consultants LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Controller to join our team in Fresno, CA. As the Construction Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our construction projects and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure they are within approved limits
- Review and approve all project-related invoices and purchase orders
- Prepare financial reports and analyze project financial performance
- Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Manage cash flow and make recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Oversee the preparation of project financial statements and tax returns
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies
- Provide financial analysis and support for project proposals and bids
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management software is a plus
- CPA certification is preferred
