Stardom Employment Consultants LLC is a leading human resource consulting firm based in Fresno, CA. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resource Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
As a Human Resource Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our human resource department. You will work closely with our HR team to provide administrative support and assist with various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job listings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and changes
- Coordinate employee training and development programs
- Assist with performance evaluation process
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain accurate records
- Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with policy development
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the HR department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a HR assistant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
