Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resource Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and a passion for helping businesses thrive through effective people management strategies. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Fresno, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements
- Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Advise and support managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
- Manage employee benefits and compensation plans, ensuring competitive and fair practices
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Handle employee grievances and conduct investigations as needed
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for employee engagement and retention
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a consulting or agency setting
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications
