Job Description
Full time, Experienced (relevant combo of work and education), Bachelor of Commerce/Business, 50 - 75% Travel, Manage strategic planning function including planning and developing long-term goals and strategic objectives to ensure business growth and/or improve productivity and profitability, Identifies, researches and evaluates new business opportunities and market initiatives by analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Tracks competition and identifies threats or opportunities, Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations and business and/or strategic plans based on company and external data analysis, Directs planning and preparation of business proposals and provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities, Ensures policies and procedures align with corporate vision, Selects, develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of function. Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay review, Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, finance or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience, 5+ years of strategic planning experience within a matrixed environment, Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business, Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors, Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills, Transformation experience with operations or corporate services, Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take, Ability to understand and focus on clients needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships with clients, Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks, Requires leadership and negotiation skills, Flexible and creative work environment, Diverse and collaborative atmosphere, Professional and personal development resources, Opportunities to volunteer and support charities
