We have a vacancy for professional and friendly support workers to assist a 20-year-old female with an acquired brain injury which she sustained in a car accident a number of years, in her own home and in the community.

“Hi, I am 20 years old and looking for support workers to join my team.

I work on a farm and need you to be comfortable around animals and happy to support me in getting out and about, and on with my life. I’m interested in real life psychological crimes, and very passionate about nature programme, in particular David Attenborough.

I am looking for day-to-day support people who will work together to make sure I am well looked after. I am moving into my own home soon so will need guidance and assistance to help me with this transition.

Duties:

Your duties will include assisting her with social, leisure and rehabilitation activities.

Hours and rate of pay:

We’re looking for full-time and part-time Support Workers. Various shifts are available - afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, additional hours during school holidays, plus annual leave/sickness cover is available.

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

* You should have previous experience of working in the Health Sector.

* You should have a Driving Licence and own car – this is essential.

* You should be trained to NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care, (or have equivalent experience e.g., completed year 1/level 4 of a recognised health profession degree course)
