FTC 12 Months

Salary - £30,000 to £34,000 per annum

We have an opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy automotive manufacturing business in Sunderland.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional who can provide operational support and services throughout their contract.

This challenging role will be an excellent opportunity to make a significant and valued contribution to their North East operation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Advising and coaching managers on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current employment legislation.

* Providing advice and guidance to line managers and training team in relation to apprentices and safeguarding issues

* Ensuring that all designated recruitment is carried out in line with company procedures. Advertising vacancies, attending interviews, carrying out any relevant testing, making offers of employment and ensuring all relevant paper work is completed

* Managing the company absence procedure, ensuring that referrals are made to Occupational Health when appropriate

* Managing family leave requested (maternity, paternity, parental and carers etc.)

* Assisting in the upkeep and development of the HRIS

* Analysing data and produce reports as requested on a range of topics, including staff turnover, sickness absence and employee turnover

* Assisting the HR Manager in ensuring that all documents, policies and processes are up to date, reflect best practice and meet the requirements of the company

Key Skills:

* HR Qualification; CIPD, level 5

* Experience in TUPE and redundancy procedures

* Good understanding of Employment Law
