JOB TITLE: Events Administrator
LOCATION: Dartford, Kent
SALARY: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour

TERM: Temporary
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Events Administrator to join our client's team. As an Events Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events that foster community spirit, enhance engagement, and create memorable experiences for all participants.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

Assisting with all aspects of event planning - collaborating with internal teams, community leaders, and external partners to plan, and organise community events such as festivals, workshops, fundraisers and social gatherings
Liaising with applications from local artists and vendors
Managing event diaries for the year
Support with all aspects of event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, scheduling and promotion
Serve as the main point of contact for event inquiries, registrations, and participant communications, ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution and long-term partnership opportunities
Utilise various marketing channels and social media platforms to promote events and drive attendance, while monitoring and analysing effectiveness to continually improve outreach efforts.
Maintain accurate records, databases, and reports related to event planning, expenses, attendance, and feedback for post-event evaluation and future planning purposes.

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

Previous experience (2+ years) in event planning, coordination, or related field.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently
Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
