Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview
They are seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for planned maintenance, minor repairs, and installations of HVAC and refrigeration equipment across various sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform periodic maintenance on air conditioning installations and commercial refrigeration equipment.
* Conduct minor air conditioning installations and reactive repairs as needed.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Provide engineering condition reports, quotations, and excellent customer service.
* Respond promptly to reactive work requests, including mechanical and electrical repairs.
Requirements:
* City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Air Conditioning.
* Fgas certification (City and Guilds 2079) and Approved Persons status for Mechanical Installations.
* Minimum of five years' experience in the field.
* Ability to demonstrate competence in primary trade with valid certification.
* Strong customer interface skills and a proactive approach to service delivery.
Desirable Skills:
* Basic understanding of other trades where certification permits.
* Familiarity with minor building/fabric items, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
