Are you conscientious with a knack for procurement? We're looking for a dedicated Spares Buyer to join a well-known aerospace business!
Position: Spares Buyer
Location: Gloucester
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure spare parts and materials from reliable suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and deliveries.
Collaborate with the maintenance and operations teams to identify and fulfill parts requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of spares to prevent operational downtime.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in procurement, specifically in spare parts buying.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
