Job Title: FLT Driver

gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 6 FLT Drivers with experience, for one of the logistics companies specialising in the distribution of goods across the country.
As a FLT Driver successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and moving goods around warehouse and will be asked to load / unload deliveries, stacking boxes for storage and moving any pallets around.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
* Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
* Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
* Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods
* Any forklift faults or damages to be reported asap
* Health and safety adhered at all the times
* Full training will be also provided
Skills:
* FLT Reach Truck Licence or VNA licence must be in date
* Relevant experience within warehouse and logistic sector
* Good eye for details
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Shifts and working hours:
We have 3 different shifts, which are either choice of yours.
* Monday – Friday 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 ( 2 positions available )
* 4 on 4 off days 06:00-18:00 ( 2 positions available )
* Night shift : 22:00-06:00 ( 2 positions available )
Hourly Pay Rates
* £13.00 per hour for any Day shift
* £15.00 per hour for Night shift
Successful candidates will be hardworking individuals, with an excellent spatial awareness along with some physical ability to perform manual labour when needed and asked.
Due to location of the company, own transport is essential.
