Personal Assistant (Support Worker)
Salary: £13 or £15 on UMBERLLA SCHEME
Location: Wakefield Area
Work hours: Part time, full time
Shift pattern: 9am-7pm / 7pm - 9am (with a sleeping shift from midnight - 9am)
Are you an experienced and compassionate Personal Assistant/Support Worker with a minimum of 6 months' UK-based healthcare experience.

About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare who are looking for an experienced Support Worker with a compassionate and caring nature, ideally with experience in working in the field of ABI however full training and support will be provided to the right person.
What you'll be doing:
Encourage the client's active lifestyle, including leisure activities.
Accompany clients to medical appointments.
Assistance with budgeting and shopping
Provide guidance and support with cooking and meal preparation.
Create a positive and engaging environment through companionship and social interactions.
Build a strong and trusting relationship with the client supporting her to achieve her goals.
Driving the client to appointments/outings
Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
A minimum of 6 month's UK-based health or social care experience is essential.
Compassionate and patient nature with excellent communication skills
Must be happy to work with the client's cats.
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality to connect with the client and create a positive atmosphere.
VALID UK CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE
Access to your own vehicle with proof of tax and MOT
Business insurance and ability to drive the client in your own vehicle.
Note: All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
