Caretaker needed for a Secondary School in Barnsley

£90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Due to increased demand within Barnsley, TeacherActive is currently recruiting passionate caretakers to work in our Secondary Schools. A caretaker is an experienced individual who is confident in fixing a whole manner of different projects within a school. This could be a permanent position for the right candidate.

An amazing caretaker is someone who is:

Highly organised
Strong character
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills. 
Flexibility
Patient
The responsibilities of a caretaker include but are not limited:

Fixing a multitude of different tasks in and around the school
This can include minor joinery work, painting, small electrical projects and knowing when a job needs professional companies to attend
Maintain and upkeep of the perimeter of the school grounds
Flexibility to respond to emergencies
Deal with any immediate issues such as emergencies in complete accordance with the school’s procedures and policies.
