Zapsa LTD is a specialist Talent Acquisition Consultancy working in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, IT, and Sustainability sectors. Our client is a renewable energy company based in Dublin, with of focus on solar car ports, ground mount, and O&M. Due to growth, they are currently on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager with a background in civil and ground mount.
About the Role
As a Solar PV Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, construction, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. You will also need to maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Manage solar PV projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that project specifications are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure that project deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Monitor project progress and identify any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Provide regular project status reports to senior management.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that all project work is completed in compliance with relevant environmental standards.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in solar PV project management.
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology and installation practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required.
