The Client:
A worldwide leader in the development of specialist parts and ancillaries for packaging and converting machinery; the business offers custom made, high performance solutions for the most demanding professional applications.
Purpose of the Role:
Develop and drive the products growth strategy for the Packaging and Converting markets.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Proactively maintain and develop current customer business through regular F2F meetings
⦁ Negotiate sales and actively pursue new business opportunities
⦁ Manage key accounts, including service delivery, commercial terms and payment
⦁ Maintain high level of customer satisfaction to maximize volume and revenue
⦁ Forecast, budget and report sales data within sales organization
⦁ Achieve agreed sales budget, both volume and net return in line with company expectations
⦁ Create, develop and execute customer strategies and plans
⦁ Collect industry intelligence covering customer, competitor and supplier
⦁ Attend trade shows, conferences and participate in working groups at industries associations
⦁ Develop an extensive network in the packaging and converting industries
The Profile:
⦁ MSc. in Engineering and / or Business
⦁ Good knowledge of Packaging and Converting industries
⦁ Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in B2B environment
⦁ Technical solution-based sales approach
⦁ Ability to work in a medium-sized organization
⦁ Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
⦁ Strong negotiation and influencing skills
⦁ Pro-active in new business development
⦁ Capacity to build strong relationships with customers
⦁ Superior presentation and communication skills
⦁ Ability to work as part of a team
⦁ Willingness to travel 50% of the time
