Position Summary The full stack software engineer reports to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and is responsible for designing, building, maintaining distributed multi-tiered applications and APIs, in the context of the brand protections solutions and services.   Job Description The full stack software engineer will build and maintain applications and implement robust software solutions which involves a large quantity of data for a non-technical audience. She will collaborate with the peers to gather requirements for new software features and lead the development of these features. A good knowledge of the security best practices and the open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and practices is a real asset. Because of the increasing levels of data security and the sensitive nature of data collected, security and integrity within the development lifecycle is a critical aspect of the work. The right individual for this role will be a curious, motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.   Qualification Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent. 2-3 years in development experience (Frontend and Backend). Real experience in developing and consuming APIs, web services. Knowledge in PHP7, modern JavaScript, and the ambition to learn new languages and paradigms. Strong background in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms. Hands on experience with Unix environment and the command line in general.
