Job Description
As MBCI's PEMB segment within the Components business unit in Shelter Solutions continues to thrive, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our strategic planning and implementation efforts.
Scope:
Lead a team of 4-8 sales managers across the United States
Oversee a portfolio exceeding $200 million, with a focus on expanding margins alongside consistent volume growth
Take ownership of the P&L for all Componentized Buildings and Private Label Building customers
Responsibilities:
Establish sales and margin targets aligned with company objectives
Develop strategic sales plans to drive sales growth, customer segmentation, and customer stratification
Collaborate with business development to maximize value from project specifications, enhancing close ratios and expanding margins
Work closely with cross-functional leaders to develop a coordinated go-to-market strategy for PEMB and associated product solutions
Drive various projects to enhance transactional efficiency and support customers and internal operations effectively
Essential Functions:
Develop annual sales plans aligned with MBCI's strategy and objectives
Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
Coordinate growth strategies with Business Development to expand market share
Recommend sales strategies based on market research and competitor analyses
Lead integration initiatives to support our aggressive M&A strategy
Foster a sales culture that prioritizes exceptional customer service
Drive sales performance through talent acquisition and development
Build, develop, and manage a sales team capable of executing sales and service initiatives
Perform other related duties as assigned
