Covering UK & Ireland

£50,000 - £60,000 + excellent benefits!

A highly reputable, prestigious organisation specialising in complex process sterilisation equipment within the pharmaceutical industry is seeking an experienced commissioning and qualification engineer to cover UK & Ireland.

As the Commissiong & Qualification Engineer, you will be involved in number of projects across the UK and Ireland carrying out installation, commissioning and qualification on bespoke equipment such as autoclaves, process vessels, steam generators, freeze dryers and leak detection systems plus more.

This role will require overnight stays, therefore you MUST be flexible to travel and stay away.

Key accountabilities:

Provide installation, re-assembly, start up, commissioning, IQOQ, cycle development, novel project works and breakdown support in line with contractual commitments and to a standard consistent with the high quality of the equipment and services the company supply
Role specific administration such as reporting, invoicing, expenses, and time sheets etc.
Effective communications to customers, internally and with suppliers.
Proper and conscientious management when in control of company equipment, including test equipment, computer equipment etc.
As requested by management be an active contributor in new equipment design qualification process discussions
When requested by management support colleagues in meetings where expertise/experience can be beneficial e.g., Risk Assessment, FMECA, HAZOP and RCA
In the pursuit of site activities be a front-line interface with principal supplier automation, engineering and process departments. Disseminate information as required
Provision of Technical Support to both to customers and internally to colleagues
Support the wider operations teams through the provision of routine services as and when requested e.g., equipment maintenance, calibration and technical intervention services

Experience and skills required:

Electrical/Electronics engineering bias
HND/HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
Extensive commissioning and qualification experience ideally within pharmaceutical / biotechnology / FMCG or relevant industries

Package/benefits:

£50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
Company performance bonus
Paid overtime x1.5 - Monday Friday any hours over 44 hrs (door to door travel)
Overnight stay allowance - £20 for first night away raising an extra £10 per night for consecutive nights (Capped at £110/night).
Once fully out on your own - Night 1-4 -£62 p/n, nights 5-7 - £80 p/n, nights 8 onwards is £100p/n.
