The Utilities Engineer will be expected to provide the technical and management expertise necessary to lead and control a highly skilled, multi-disciplined team providing a Works service to the business.

Responsibilities of the Utilities Engineer:

To determine, organize and direct the engineering resources and material needed to satisfy the operational and engineering requirements of the Works Services Department.
To ensure that all teams' activities comply with all statutory health, safety, and environmental legislative requirements.
To provide Technical and Engineering expertise to resolve plant engineering problems and developments.
You will devise and develop planned maintenance and inspection schedules.
You will develop long-term strategic plant replacement and improvement strategies for the company.
In order to be successful as the Utilities Engineer it will be expected for you to possess a high level of technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical principles. It would also be preferred if the Utilities engineer had a relevant qualification in engineering, as well as the ability to devise and co-ordinate complex and interactive plans and schedules to meet constantly changing circumstances.
