Introduction to the job

The Product Compliance Officer plays a critical role in ensuring all EUV products manufactured at the plant adhere to relevant regulations and standards. This role involves staying updated on evolving regulations, conducting compliance assessments. The Compliance Officer will act as a quality gate for the EUV factory ensuring that all our shipped systems are compliant with a validated and traceable compliance evidences.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

In your role as Business process analyst, you will:

  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards: This includes national, regional, and international regulations pertaining to product safety as an interface between the EUV factory and the corporate compliance team.
  • Develop and implement compliance processes: This involves creating and maintaining procedures for compliance audits, documentation, and recordkeeping to ensure consistent compliance. Implement process updates and document management control related to the compliance process.
  • Collaborate with various departments: Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, and quality control teams to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of product development and manufacturing.
  • Conduct and participate in internal audits: Regularly assess the effectiveness of the company's compliance program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct the compliance check: ensure the quality of the compliance evidences by regular review, check and reporting of deviation to the Supplier quality engineers. Conduct physical parts inspection at the clean room
  • Report and communicate: Regularly report on compliance status to management and relevant stakeholders. Communicate compliance requirements and updates to internal teams.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in product compliance and supplier management.
  • Knowledge of Assessments/Audits
  • understanding of relevant regulations and standards related to electronic products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and compliance software

Skills

  • Ambitious, enthusiastic and with a pro-active, initiating attitude
  • Enthusiasm for organizational structures and processes
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Experience with conducting internal audits.
  • Familiarity with specific regulations relevant to the company's products (e.g., RoHS, REACH, CE Marking).
  • Attention to details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of written and spoken English
Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary employment conditions

  • A gross monthly salary of up to €5500
  • A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
  • 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries
