Growth Marketer / Manager

It’s an exciting time to be part of the decentralized web3 industry, many projects that challenge the current rules of finance have experienced record volume levels over the past 12 months – and it’s only just beginning.

SearchDATA is partnered with a DeFi derivatives exchange, and we’re looking for somebody that’s passionate about DeFi to come on board and make fundamental decisions that will shape the future of the product.

You’ll need to have a background in marketing, with a proven record of executing growth strategies that increase trading volume and user levels for a trading exchange (this can be traditional, CEX or DEX). The company is still in it’s early stages, and this will be an opportunity to showcase your ability and have full responsibility for the growth of the project.

Main Responsibilities

* Plan and execute growth strategies to boost trading volume on the exchange and increase the userbase.

* Engage with the community via both Twitter and Discord, aiming to improve brand loyalty and customer retention.

* Understand market trends with the ability to use data to optimize your initiatives and campaigns.

* Work with both the product and tech teams to enhance features on the platform and the overall UX.

* Monitor and report on your initiatives, adjusting your tactics if required to achieve targets.

Required Experience

* A proven track record in growth marketing, particularly with either a traditional exchange or a CEX / DEX.

* A deep understanding of the trading ecosystem, as well as user behaviours and market dynamics.

* Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to convey clear and compelling messages. You’ll need to work closely with the community, as well as collaborating with external partners and internal teams, so this is extremely important.

* A real passion for crypto and the DeFi industry as a whole.

Bonus Experience

* Previous success with a viral marketing campaign and/or success with social media growth.

* A background in community building, such as engaging users in online forums, or being actively being part of trading communities.
