Responsibilities:

Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence in care delivery
Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Oversee medication management and administration, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols
Liaise with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and person-centered care
Participate in staff recruitment, training, and performance management activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care and administrative processesRequirements:

Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Previous experience in a similar clinical leadership role within a nursing home setting is preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in nursing care
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently when required
