Simon Acres Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a Luxury Kitchen Retailer to find a Business Development Manager for their Contracts department.
The aim of the role is to generate new business within the UK's Luxury Developments market, with a major focus on London and the surrounding area.
In return our client is offering a starting salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 as well as a generous commission structure and company car or car allowance.
The Role:
* Selling Kitchens into the contracts market.
* Prospecting, building, and developing new business.
* Creating new business through cold calls and inbound warm leads.
* Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
* Researching organisations, individuals, and specific projects to find new opportunities.
* Managing existing customer relationships.
* Increasing the value of current customers whilst attracting new ones.
* Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
* Discussing promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
* Working closely with housing and high-rise developers within the private market.
* Building strong business relationships.
* You will be required to travel to head office based in St Albans for Sales Meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven track record within field sales - selling kitchens into private developers.
* Experience of dealing with Regional House Builders, Major Projects, House Building Contractors, and High-Rise Developers.
* Sales Account Management experience.
* A clear understanding of the market (London centric) and competitors.
* Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
* Strong network and relationships within the contract market.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* Results-oriented mindset with a drive for success.
* Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.
* Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
* Must hold a valid and clean driving licence.
* Flexible with business travel requirements.
