£390 per day – Outside IR35
5 month contract
Predominantly remote with occasional travel to site as required
Skills required:

Awareness and/or experience of the full test life cycle of Requirements analysis, creating and designing Test Cases, Test Tools / Equipment / Documentation, Executing the tests on a product, Defect Capture and Analysis and Reporting throughout.
MS Windows and Linux OS environment.
Experience in application of test process through a hardware and software development life cycle.
Relevant programming language experience, e.g. C++, Java
Significant relevant experience of testing Web Based and Embedded systems.
Solid manual testing experience, including writing and executing test scripts.
Experience of testing a variety of applications.
Experience of issue tracking tools - ideally JIRA.
Experience of both Agile and Waterfall development.
SDLC (full lifecycle) experience.
Experience of User Acceptance Testing.Duties:

Works with development staff to design and run tests to ensure that products are of the highest quality possible.
Generates reports and documentation associated with testing.
Advises on, and assists with the implementation of improvements to test processes
Generates reports and documentation associated with testing.
Management of defects and change using systems such as JIRA
