Are you a caring person with a natural ability to put people at ease, develop relationships and ensure the highest level of customer care? If so, you belong at Bromford!
Being an Independent Living Scheme Officer is a challenging but hugely rewarding role empowering our customers to thrive in their homes. You’ll have regular customer contact, complete annual independent living reviews, manage communal repairs and be responsible for H&S checks on site.
The right person will be compassionate and patient and have a real understanding for the needs of older people. You will need to be visible to customers, visiting sites regularly, so it will require a good amount of travelling, but developing those relationships and providing that essential point of contact for our older residents makes such a difference.
This role is permanent, part time and subject to an enhanced DBS sheck. You’ll work 20 hours per week over a minimum of 4 mornings (there is some flexibility with times). You’ll support customers in our Graham Court Scheme in Tewkesbury (GL20 5NZ). A full UK driving licence is required as you may need to support other schemes from time to time.
You will be someone who:
* You’re curious and don’t shy away from having difficult conversations
* You’re tenacious and resilient - doing what it takes to achieve the right outcome
* You have a track record of being self-motivated, flexible and able to manage your own workload
* You have a reputation for first rate influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills.
* Has experience of working with older people, in a customer focused environment
* Has experience of understanding and working within policies, procedures, and code of conduct
The closing date is Monday 17 June with interviews taking place Tuesday 25 June
