Vacancy - Glass Manufacturing Processor

Our client Pearsons Glass has a vacancy for a loading position. As a Glass Manufacturing Processor some your responsibilities will include loading glass and mirrors onto company vehicles both manually and using a fork lift truck. You will also be counting, checking and processing the final movement of orders prior to delivery.

They are a family business based in Liverpool and have been in business since 1901 and are well respected within the industry.

Ideal Requirements:

* Previous experience of handling glass

* Must have a good level of physical fitness due to some heavy lifting being required

* Full, valid drivers licence

* FLT licence and experience

* Good attention to detail

* Be a team player

* Have good communication skills

Location: On site, L3 7EH

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hourly paid with overtime available on occasion

Shifts: Yes – this is a permanent late shift working the following hours each week

Week 1 – (Apply online only) Mon – Thurs, (Apply online only) Fri
Week 2 – 1400 – 2230 Mon – Thurs, (Apply online only) Fri

Initial training period will be on days, (Apply online only) Mon-Thu and (Apply online only) Fri for approximately 1-2 weeks.

You need to be able to get to and from the site for these times. They are midway between two train stations, however public transport may not run at the times required. Please check you can get to them for the above shifts prior to applying.

Pay rate

Standard Hourly Rate: £11.50 per hour (This will be your rate on days and during your training period)
Shift Rate: £13.57 per hour (This will be your normal rate as you are applying for a shift role and will be applied once you go onto shift following your training period)
Overtime Rate: £14.95 per hour
