Customer Service / Sales Support Assistant

The company is a leading provider in the science and engineering, specializing in developing cutting-edge technology solutions. With a dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction, they are expanding their team and seeking a dynamic individual to join as a Sales Assistant.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of sales support and customer service functions.

Responsibilities include being the first point of contact for the company, handling client requests or escalating them (if required), supporting the sales team, and providing exemplary customer service to valued clients.

As part of the role you will be keeping on top of the CRM system, ensuring everything is kept up to date and no stone left unturned. This could be following up with potential customers, organising visits for Sales Engineers or other activities to help out the sales team in general.

Full on the job training will be provided in terms of getting to grips with the product and the technical area that the business works in.

Requirements:

A key part of this role will be speaking to clients over the phone and via email, so being a clear and confident communicator is very important.

You will have some professional experience under your belt, at least a year or two of sales experience or working in a role where you have delivered exceptional customer service.

Organisational skills are also key – the CRM system where all the data is stored needs to be kept up to date and accurate. You will also be managing your time in order to complete the tasks as you see fit
