Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Salary: £27-£29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday- Thursday 07:45-16:45, Friday 07:45-13:45 (Flexible)
This is an exciting opportunity for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a leading aerospace manufacturing business. The companies Engineering team design custom Interconnect Solutions to carry signals from High Voltage Power Supplies to some of the most advanced technologies on the planet, and even beyond.
The role of the Electro-Mechanical Assembler will include:
Manufacture complex, multi pin cable assemblies and harnesses to Engineering drawings and specifications
Use techniques and self-inspection standards to IPC-610 and/or IPC620
Soldering and crimping of miniature high voltage connectors and contacts
Regular use of glues, epoxies, and adhesives to encapsulate connectors
Test the assemblies for continuity and isolation using automated test equipment on the shop floor
Work to production schedules and be able to give status updates with expected completion dates to the Team Leader
Work with the rest of the production team and be adaptable to carry out multiple tasks to ensure site delivery schedules are met
