The Opportunity
Our Client is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join their team as the Assistant Head for Student Well-being and Success. In this pivotal role, you will play a leadership role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all students, both within the classrooms and residential facilities.
Your Responsibilities
* Champion a culture of safeguarding best practices, fostering a secure and supportive environment for all students.
* Oversee the well-being of students in both academic and residential settings.
* Collaborate with staff to develop individualized learning plans aligned with each student's needs.
* Guide students in their transition to their next steps, whether further education, employment, or supported living.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
Your Qualifications
* Proven experience working with young people with learning differences/specific needs.
* Previous experience in either educational or residential settings (or both) is a plus.
* A deep commitment to understanding and catering to individual student needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate others.
