My client is a long established successful specialist manufacturing engineering SME serving customers in high reliability sectors. They are currently in need of an Assembly Technician to join their team based in Croydon.
ROLE: This role involves the setting and operating of a dicing saw in order to cut silicon wafers to a required configuration, visual inspection of incoming goods and cleaning of manufactured parts.
DUTIES:
* Responsibility for the operation and routine maintenance of the Dicing Saw.
* Cut and clean a variety of die configurations to manufacturing drawing requirements.
* Ensure documentation associated with the job is completed fully and correctly at all times.
* Review, plan, and coordinate stock, highlighting potential shortages.
SKILLS:
* Assembly (2 years)
* Good hand-eye dexterity and a strong attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of MS Office is beneficial
