Job role
A Farm shop is looking for a strong head chef to join their kitchen team working as part of the kitchen team throughout its sites. This is a full-time position which will require 45 hours , including weekends and NO split shifts. They are a busy café offering a freshly cooked breakfast and lunch service with a menu produced using locally sourced seasonal products. Working as a head chef you will help in the preparation and service of our daily menus alongside Sunday Roasts and fun events like outdoor cinemas and music events.
Your duties will also include assisting the team with stock ordering and rotation, involvement in new menu ideas and producing specials for the menu.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes….
Ensuring high culinary standards
Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
Helping create new recipes and write menus.

A flair with ingredients
An ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts.
Strong leadership skills to motivate your team of chefs.
First rate culinary skills
Useful qualifications include:
Health and safety and food hygiene certificates
