Finance Assistant - Join a Thriving International Law Firm in Southampton!

We are seeking a motivated and organised Finance Assistant to join the Treasury and Cash Operations team in central Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the firm.

What you'll do:

Process payments to clients and key suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
Meticulously record all financial transactions in their accounting system
Conduct daily and monthly reconciliations in various foreign currencies across all bank account
Liaise with partners/fee earners, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reconciliation of client
monies in accordance with local country regulations
Preparation of client monies statements for review and approval
Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service to colleagues and external clients
What you'll bring:

At least 3 years' experience in a similar finance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of spreadsheets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
