Rate: £550 per day (Outside of IR-35)

Are you an experienced Security Assurance professional looking for your next challenge?

CND are working with an innovative and well thought of Defence consultancy who are looking for a Security Assurance Coordinator to add their expertise to an ongoing project. The work can be delivered in a mostly remote fashion with weekly travel to site in Corsham. You will be working to deliver security assurance under the Secure-by-Design (SbD) methodology, ensuring that risks and vulnerabilities are effectively catalogued and remediated.

The contract will run until the end of August initially and will require at minimum SC clearance due to turn around times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Pull together an appropriate approach to various projects, aiming for accreditation

* Create relevant SbD documentation and advise on areas of concern

* Manage the security of various services that are already live

* Take ownership of Security Assurance Plans

* Offer expertise around documentation such as RMADS, SyOps etc

Essential Skills:

* Experience of delivering Security Assurance within an MOD environment

* Understanding of various policies and procedures such as JSP440, JSP604 etc

* Background of effectively balancing security needs with operational needs

* Knowledge of the MOD accreditation process and moving projects through it

Candidates must hold valid UK Security Clearance or be able to attain the level of Clearance specified.
