Role Overview

As a Sunseeker Production Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting structural design, tooling installation, and setup. Your responsibilities include:

Structural Design:

Utilize 3D modeling software to create fabricated structures supporting the NPD boat-building program.
Generate 2D drawings from 3D models for supplier quotations and manufacturing.
Tooling Solutions:

Develop tooling solutions for production, leveraging product design knowledge and assembly methods.
Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality tooling.
Project Management:

Manage project plans and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
Drive sustainable cost reductions through product and material re-engineering.
Process Optimization:

Define efficient build processes by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Foster close relationships with the manufacturing engineering team to support lean practices.
Innovation and Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with internal departments and key stakeholders.Qualifications and Skills

To be considered, demonstrate:

Qualification or sound knowledge in Engineering, Structural or Industrial Design, or Naval Architecture.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software.
Excellent communication skills, emphasizing active listening.
