Temp to Perm opportunity.

gap personnel Exeter, are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a temp to perm placement based in Crediton, Devon.

You will be joining a friendly and growing subcontractor machining company.  

As a CNC Setter your duties will include:

Running CNC machines.
Deburr small and large precision Components.
General inspection to make sure parts are running fine.
General housekeeping tasks such as cleaning machines, topping up coolants, and moving parts on.
Running manual Lathes and Mills.
About You:

Keen eye for detail
Good hand/eye coordination
Previous experience at setting CNC machines to a high standard.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of programming
Competent at reading, understanding and working with engineering technical drawings.
Working Hours & Pay:

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 0800am – 1700pm, Friday, 0700am-1300pm
£12.00 per hour, Overtime available after 40hours.

Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
