Bonus – 12% based on company and personal objectives
Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Join our finance team and support its operations with your exceptional administrative skills. As an Accounts Assistant, you'll handle clerical tasks, assist with bookkeeping, and ensure smooth communication within and outside the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Process AP and AR invoices using Sage across multiple currencies.
Manage AP and AR mailboxes.
Issue customer statements and reconcile supplier statements.
Handle supplier invoices and resolve queries. Assist with bank payment runs and ad-hoc payments.
Conduct supplier and client reconciliations.
Perform bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
Manage credit control and credit management.
Assist with stock records and reports. Maintain supplier and customer accounts on Sage.
Manage service provider login credentials.
Handle Direct Debits and notifications. Assist with invoice discounting account reconciliation.
Aid in credit card reconciliations and staff expenses.
Process EU VAT returns in collaboration with the Management Accountant. Assist with month-end reporting for AP and AR.
Review credit limits and terms periodically. Perform any other duties as required.
Experience Required:
Prior experience in accounts or finance roles.
Strong administrative skills with excellent prioritisation abilities.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and well-organised.
Effective communicator and team player.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in databases, Excel (intermediate level), Word, and Sage. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Positive attitude towards learning and improvement.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in a high-performing finance team.
Proficiency in Sage 50, Navision, Excel, and Word.
