Purpose of an Electrical Assembler
Working across production areas regarding electrical requirements ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Working across all aspects of , ensuring that deadlines are met
* Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules
* Experience with Loop Manufacturing and bonding cables
* Test and inspection of electrical assemblies
* Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
* Meeting set production targets
* Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
* Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
* Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved
* Escalate issues to line management as required
* Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills
Knowledge:
* Experience in a production environment
* Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace)
* Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP
Education
* Time served apprenticeship preferred electrical basis

* Ability to prioritise workload
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
* Strong communication and team working skills
* High regard for Health and Safety
* Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team spirit
Other material requirements
* Flexibility to work at other sites as required.
* Willing to work hours necessary to ensure production goals are achieved.
