In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Engineering courses by planning & teaching well-structured lessons. You will also offer pastoral support, being a source of guidance & inspiration for all students. Other aspects of this role include tutoring individual students, participating in staff events & meetings and fulfilling wider responsibilities around the school.

The ideal candidate will be an engineering professional with knowledge and experience in any of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Engineering design, Engineering manufacturing. They will be able to teach & train other people and be comfortable working with children.

This role would suit an engineering professional with up to date technical knowledge who is looking to make a career change & step into a Teaching role work for an employer that will invest heavily in their training and has excellent career prospects on offer.

The Role:

Teaching engineering courses at Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
Offering pastoral support to students
Participating in wider duties & responsibilities around the school
The Person:

Up to date knowledge of either Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design or Engineering Manufacturing
Confident teaching groups of people
Enjoys working with kids
