Field Service Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a global leading compressed air and gas filtration company. Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team. You will be part of a team of Service Engineers covering the Midlands working on our complete range of portable compressors, generators, pumps, lighting towers and battery storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

* Promptly carry out servicing and maintenance on BSES (Energy storage systems), Generators, Portable air compressors and pumps.

* Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop-based.

* Carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.

* Identify required parts to effect repairs.

* Complete job reports correctly and return them promptly.

* Required, to plan and organise daily and weekly visit schedules.

* Be aware of, and apply, Health and Safety regulations in the workshop and on-site.

* Always apply good standards of engineering practice.

* Maintain test instruments, to ensure they remain in good condition.

* Effectively promote the company image.

* Perform related responsibilities as required.

Desireables:

* You will have current experience of repairing and servicing at least some of the following equipment: Energy Storage solutions, Generators, Battery expert, Portable Air Compressors, Pumps, Lighting Towers.

* You will have a good knowledge of the construction industry,

* You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with our teams and external partners.

* You are customer-focused and take ownership of meeting the customer's needs.

* You can work both individually and be a valuable member of a team.

* You are enthusiastic and passionate, but you still work systematically and are focusing on delivering quality and results.

* You have a PC literate and hold a clean driving license.

* You are fluent in English, as this is our internal language.
