What can the HR Advisor expect in return? Package available includes:

Salary of £30-£35k per annum
Walsall based office
Flexibility in working hours, with core hours being 09:00am-17:00pm
28 days holiday entitlementWhat does the ideal HR Advisor look like? Our ideal candidate will have:

Degree educated or equivalent plus CIPD qualified
An experienced individual who is familiar working in a HR environment, providing first line generalist HR advice
Demonstrate knowledge of employment legislation
Ability to manage your time effectively whilst working on a range of complex matters within a fast paced environment
Proactive approach to continuous business improvements
Ability to act on own initiative
Experience on implementing processes
Demonstrate organisational skills
Demonstrates commitment to, and enthusiasm for personal development
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to differing audiences
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
A positive 'Can Do' attitudeWhat will the HR Advisor be responsible for? Key duties include but are not limited to:

Provide advice and guidance to clients, managers and colleagues on aspects of HR policy and practice
Respond to questions regarding terms and conditions including pay, holiday and other forms of leave, flexible working requests, long term sickness, changes to benefits, exit process etc.
Ensure the timely and satisfactory resolution of employee relations issues by maintaining effective relationships with staff side representatives
Build good working relationships with all line managers in order to better understand their needs and provide appropriate HR related support
Manage sickness absence in collaboration with managers, assisting staff back to work and working with managers to reduce sickness absence across the organisation
Act as first point of contact for any HR related query and escalate when necessary
Coaching and guiding managers with all people issues
Contribute to the successful implementation appraisal process
Facilitate communication across all levels of the organisation
