Consultant Psychiatrist

My client is seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist to cover 17 beds in their Acute service. The role will be working with male and female patients. You will fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients supervising the process of referral and admission, including contribution to the pre-admission assessments of adults of working age.

You will be part of a well-established and cohesive team of medics which includes; Medical Director, Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Registered Medical Officer and Aston University Medical Students.

You must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry
Have experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
You will have experience at Consultant level within the NHS, including the ability to conduct training.
You will continue to hold a registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry.What we offer you
