Metalis Recruitment are currently working with a prestigious manufacturing company who due to expansion are looking for an experienced Grinder to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Setting and calibrating optical profile grinding machinery
Operating a Wickman machine in accordance to customer specifications
Working from engineering drawings & specifications
Using optical and measuring tools to inspect workpieces during and after grinding to ensure they meet specifications
Configuring machine settings including speed, feed, and depth of cut based on the material and blueprint requirementsShifts & Salary:

£16.00ph basic rate
£24.00ph overtime rate
Days only, Monday - Friday
Monday - Thursday (6:30am - 4:30pm) OFF Friday 3 day weekend!
Full time, Permanent positionThe Ideal candidate will have:

Previous Grinding experience
Knowledge of Wickman machinery
