Job Title: Senior HR Advisor (Maternity Cover Contract)

Salary - £34,000 - £45,000
SF Recruitment, in collaboration with a leading education organisation, they are seeking a experienced HR Business Partner to join their team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. As a vital member of the HR team, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality, strategically driven HR partnership to schools and professional services, ensuring a progressive and inclusive employment experience.
You will oversee all employee relations case work, whilst also coaching and supporting managers. In addition, you will lead on people matters covering restructures, training, and procedure development with a focus on adding value with all that you do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end case management support for all employee relations cases within designated areas, extending support to other areas to enhance team effectiveness.
- Lead investigations by devising tailored strategies, conducting risk assessments as appropriate, assisting in report development, and coordinating with stakeholders to progress cases.
- Proactively develop innovative solutions to resolve cases, prioritising employee experience and adding value to the process.
- Coach and support managers in handling complex HR issues, including employee relations cases, to improve efficiency and management competence.
- Lead organisational restructures within designated areas.
- Utilise workforce data to support the Senior HR Business Partner in delivering high-quality, strategically driven HR partnership.
- Use case data and insights to support the creation and review of HR policies, procedures, and guidance.
- Develop and implement training initiatives focused on enhancing managerial competence.
- Undertake appropriate business partner activities related to managed cases, developing strong relationships with managers and unions.
- Proactively support effective and constructive dispute resolution.
- Proactively support wellbeing approaches, liaising with specialist teams overseen by the Senior HR Business Partner.
- Ensure all case management details are accurately recorded on the Case Work Tracker and conduct reviews of case progress and risk.
- Ensure that all activities embed equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding people matters and information management, complying with GDPR.
- Work collaboratively with other HR teams to deliver a seamless and high-quality service to stakeholders.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties assigned by the Director of HR.

Key Qualifications:
- Previous HR experience, particularly in employee relations, within a large, complex organisation.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
