Internal Sales Executive

At PAM, we have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Sales Executive, working as part of our IPS (Ductile, Iron Pipes and Fittings) sector.

As a key member of the Internal Sales team, you will be responsible for raising quotations in a timely manner and quote follow up, both for merchants and framework customers.

You will have ownership of allocated customers and enquiries, being proactive with your questioning to understand customer requirements, as well as identify potential opportunities.

This role will suit someone who is from a sales, or customer focussed background, as you will be working with our customers, we value skills in strong communication, negotiating and the ability to be able to add value for the customer

The role is office-based currently in our office in Ilkeston, with a move to new offices in NG8PX from early August

What we're looking for:

Customer focussed, with an ability to actively listen and identify opportunities and build a good rapport with the customers.
Previous experience of working with customers, either in a sales or customer service type position
Confident in negotiating, providing quotations and following up with customers
IT literate, knowledge of working with CRM and software packages
Experience of working collaboratively, working with colleagues to meet and exceed targets

What will you be doing:

You will be our first point of contact for all enquiries related to Water & Sewer products
Quote generation and following -up through to successful closure - this will include major projects
Daily communication with regional customers at all levels
Working with internal stakeholders to identify new sales opportunities
Ensure, where appropriate, all information and actions are entered onto our CRM systems (currently Salesforce) and other relevant databases
