Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a reputable manufacturer with a global footprint, is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be instrumental in promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the organisation. You’ll use your expertise to provide solutions, advice, and support to various teams, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, Risk, Business Continuity, and Environmental Policies.

Your Role:

• Provide comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental guidance and training.
• Stay current with legal obligations, industry standards, and best practices, effectively communicating any changes.
• Enhance the audit system to fit the company’s activities.
• Analyse and report on identified risk trends at the site.
• Support ISO45001 and 14001 compliance efforts.
• Ensure alignment with the Global Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
• Advise on management systems, policies, and procedures, and assist with external audits.
• Participate in corporate Health, Safety & Environment improvement initiatives.
• Support environmental initiatives, including waste and energy reduction.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions as needed.
• Manage onsite administration and data for the HSE management system.
• Foster a positive safety culture throughout the workforce.
• Assist with projects and campaigns under the guidance of the HSE manager.
• Conduct internal meetings, presentations, and other relevant duties as required.

What You'll Need:

• Experience and knowledge of Health & Safety practices within manufacturing or similar environments.
• Experience in conducting Health & Safety meetings.
• A genuine passion for Health & Safety.
• The drive and ability to challenge and influence senior leadership.
• NEBOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
