Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: BD4 Bradford

Salary: Up to £43,000 including 27% Shift Allowance (£53,000 total)

Work Schedule: Shift Work

Three-week rotating pattern averaging 37.5 hours a week on 12-hour shifts:

Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Day shift: 6am - 6pm)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Night shift: 6pm - 6am)

Week 3: Monday, Tuesday (Day shift: 6am - 6pm), Thursday, Friday (Night shift: 6pm - 6am)

Following week reverts to Week 1 pattern.

Maintenance Engineer / Multi-Skilled Engineer / CNC Machine Tooling Equipment/West Yorkshire

Purpose of the Role

This role provides a fantastic and challenging environment, allowing you to work alongside highly skilled engineers. The position is predominantly autonomous and comes with an appealing shift pattern and company benefits.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance for a range of CNC machinery including lathes, grinding machines, balancing machines, robotics, and automated/semi-automated assembly equipment.
React promptly to urgent breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.
Follow PPM & TPM schedules to ensure all equipment is routinely serviced and inspected.
Maintenance Engineers are to engage in continuous improvement activities with set objectives to enhance maintenance KPIs.
Perform PLC & Drive Diagnosis (Siemens, Fanuc, Allan Bradley & Okuma).
Work with vision systems.
Participate in new equipment implementation projects.
Operate from SAP.
Install machine services including electrical supply, pneumatics, and networks.
Required qualifications of Maintenance Engineer:

HNC/HND in electronics/mechanics
Electrical installation experience, 18th edition qualification (preferred)
Maintenance Engineer should be knowledgeable of machine tool processes, fault diagnostics, analysis, and countermeasure implementation
Experience in CNC diagnostics (Okuma, Siemens, Fanuc, etc.)
Familiarity with root cause analysis tools, practical problem-solving techniques, and lean manufacturing (preferred)
Excellent team player, working well with like-minded engineers
