Commercial Glass Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glass Estimator to join our dynamic team in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in the glass and glazing industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately estimate the cost, materials, labor, and time required for commercial glazing projects.
Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best prices and products.
Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for clients.
Track project expenses and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, products, and pricing.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a glass estimator, preferably in the commercial sector.
Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and materials.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
