Senior Production Planner

Consilium Recruit has been exclusively assigned by an innovate manufacturer to manage the recruitment of a Senior Production Planner. Joining at a time of significant expansion and new product launch you will be responsible for ensuring production meets all demand plans and candidates are sought with experience working in a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment.

Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon, Coventry, Birmingham, Banbury, Warwick.

Salary: £ 34,000 - £ 40,000 plus benefits

Suitable for: Production Scheduler, Production Planner, Master Scheduler, Production Controller, Senior Production Planning, Planning Manager, Production Controller.

The Role

Responsible for the scheduling of production in line with demand plans.

Review work in progress to ensure accurate stock levels are sustained.

Develop and maintain the production plan and ensuring the plan is in line with customer requirements.

Develop relationships with key suppliers.

Be the main point of contact for ERP issues with the group.

Controlling and expediting any given part number where necessary

Management and organisation of subcontract work against agreed targets.

Utilizing Resource group plan and raising job orders were appropriate.

Liaising with purchasing on material shortages.

Review and update monthly production plans and analyse bottlenecks.

Support Inventory facilitator when necessary,

The Candidate

Proven experience in production planning.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of developing production planning systems and working with global suppliers.

Ability to manage large amounts of complex data.

Results orientated.

Ideally will have worked in an SME environment.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with excellent organisational skills.
