IT Infrastructure Manager – Corsham (SN13)

* Salary £45,000 - £70,000

We are looking for someone to lead, develop and line manage the technical capability within the IT Service Delivery team, assuming responsibility for the delivery of internal and external tasking and contribute to the planning activities. Working closely with our Service Delivery Manager and being responsible for:

* Monitoring and event management

* Service configuration management

* Deployment management

* Infrastructure and platform management

What you’ll be expected to do

* Deliver IT projects adhering to relevant standards, policies and procedures including the Change Management Process, for both internal and external customers;

* Identify process improvement opportunities within the technical capability for the betterment of the business, promoting innovative solutions within the tea

* Establish best practice for the delivery of projects, both internal and external through mentoring, procedures, systems and standards

* Lead on technical tasks, being aware of business impact, timescales and security considerations

* Lead systems design and solution architecture progression through up-to-date technical knowledge and forward-thinking approaches

Necessary Experience/Qualifications Specification:

* Experience with Server Architecture, Firewalls, and Routers

* Experience with Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Skype, and MS SharePoint

* Experience with System Integration, Network Infrastructure, Virtualisation, VLANs, VPN

Desirable:

* Experience with IPS and IDS

* Experience with Solaris and Linux

Due to the highly secure nature of the projects you’ll be working on, you must be willing to undergo and maintain appropriate UK government DV-Level security clearance
