About the team:
The Planning and Enterprise Data Governance Team (PLEDG) is responsible for Agile Intake Processes, Data Governance, and Compliance.  PLEDG enables the data function to quickly adapt to Worldpay’s changing requirements, optimize their business decision making through accurate and reliable data, and play the critical role of ensuring Worldpay is compliant with relevant regulations such as SOX, privacy, and security regulations. 
What you will be doing:
The Software Engineer - Specialist is responsible for the data, processes and technology that support our FIS Corporate Data Assets.  This position will be a key partner in building internal corporate Data Governance and Data Quality utilizing Informatica’s tool suite. This position is responsible for creating/maintaining Master Data Management solution, data quality metrics and data quality scorecards.
Perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples)
Develop Master Data Management solutions utilizing the Informatica toolset
Perform root cause analysis on data assets based on scorecard and metrics
Work with stakeholders at various level to assist with data quality resolutions
Collaborate with ETL teams and guide them on data governance standards and policies
Responsible for data definitions, classifications and naming standards
Responsible for obtaining approvals from the data owners
Develop data scorecards and dashboards within the Informatica Suite
Participation in and fulfill Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) auditing requests
Identify opportunities to improve data quality at the source
Requires strong SQL development skills – writing complex queries
Adhere to Data Governance policies and processes
Additional duties as assigned
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems with expertise in data mining or equivalent
Minimum of 5+ years is must with implementing Informatica product suite
Experience in using IDQ tool for source data profiling, creating and applying rules to identify data anomalies
Related work experience in areas of Master Data Management, Data Governance, deep experience in data warehousing and analysis
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile/SAFe methodologies
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
