Description:
Seasoned Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients using X-Ray equipment while adhering to radiation safety protocols. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality images are produced.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform X-Ray examinations on patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and cooperation.
Position patients correctly and adjust X-Ray equipment to obtain optimal images.
Operate X-Ray equipment and adjust technical factors to produce high-quality images.
Review images and check for image quality and proper identification of patients.
Assist in the administration of contrast agents and other medications as required for X-Ray examinations.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide support as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of patient documentation and procedural information.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient history, examination plans, and interpretation of images.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
Maintain and troubleshoot X-Ray equipment and report any malfunctions or need for repairs.
Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous professional development.
Requirements
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
Experience working as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-Ray procedures.
Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to operate and maintain X-Ray equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Current CPR certification.
